Martha D. Hopkins is owner of Elberton Hill Farm, a Thoroughbred-breeding farm. The farm—recorded in the Land Preservation Bank—has been owned by the Hopkins family for more than 300 years. Hopkins, a homemaker and mother, made all the stars on the 1812 flag that flies at Fort McHenry, was on the board of the Junior League of Baltimore for three years, and was president of Harford County's Garden Club for one year.
