Marvesta Shrimp Pilaf

Marvesta Shrimp Pilaf Recipe

Marvesta shrimp is fabulous on its own, but adding just a few simple ingredients—like in this easy rice dish—elevates it to the divine.

Marvesta Shrimp Pilaf

1 lb. Marvesta jumbo shrimp

¼ c. honey

1 ½ T. Dijon mustard

Zest and juice of one orange

White rice, steamed

Shell and de-vein the shrimp. Set aside.  Combine the honey, mustard, and orange juice to make a marinade. (Reserve a tablespoon or two for later.) Marinate the shrimp in the honey-mustard mixture for two hours in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Bake the shrimp in a greased pan for 8 to 10 minutes, or until done.

Top the shrimp with the reserved marinade and orange zest. Serve over hot rice.

Quick tip!  No oranges on hand?  No worries!   A lemon or lime would make this dish just as zingy!
