Bonacci received the Management Valor Award from Southwest Airlines in 1998 and 1999; was part of the National Sales Team of the Year for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in 2001 and 2002; was nominated New Tourism Person of the Year in 2003; and was nominated Tourism Leader of the Year by the National Academy Foundation in 2007.
