Ronald J. Volpe proudly serves as president of Hood College and also as a professor of management for the school. At the age of 29, Volpe was appointed dean of business at his alma mater, Gannon University, and was informed that he was the youngest business-school dean in the country. Today, Volpe lives in Frederick County with his wife and daughter and credits his time working for 10 different college presidents for preparing him for his current position at Hood.
