Sourdough Rolls

Adapted from Food.com

1 c. sourdough starter*

1 1/2 c. warm water

1 T. yeast

1 T. salt

1 T. sugar

2 T. olive oil

3-4 c. all-purpose flour

Melted butter

Combine starter with water, yeast, salt, sugar, and oil. Stir in a small amount of flour at a time until dough holds together. Knead until smooth. Put in large oiled bowl and cover with a cloth. Let rise in a draft-free place until doubled in bulk. Punch down dough; form into rolls. Place rolls in greased 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Let rise until doubled. Bake in a 375-degree oven until brown, about 20 minutes. Brush with melted butter. Serve warm.
