Music lovers, are you ready to party? Former Laughing Colors frontman, Dave Tieff, will celebrate the release of his second solo album, A Trip into the Sun, on July 20th at Metropolitan in Annapolis.
Tieff, who has been nominated as one of Indie Music Magazine’s “Top 50 Acoustic Musicians You Don’t Want To Miss,” created this album himself, signing on to indie label KETS Records, and funding “everything from top to bottom.” A Trip into the Sun consists of five singer/songwriter tracks, and was produced and co-written by Grammy-nominated Kevin Kadish and Mitch Allan.
The CD release party is the perfect opportunity to hear the tracks. The party will feature a live performance by Tieff and his full band, as well as a solo performance by Tobias Russell. The party will also feature a brand new lineup with the “best area musicians,” and is certain to be a “high energy” show, says Tieff. At only $15 for a ticket, which includes a copy of the new CD, this event is one not to miss.
If you go, stay tuned after the show, because Tieff tries “to meet everybody who supports the music” and stays after his performance to talk to fans.
Tieff adds, “Performing is what it’s all about… I love interacting with the crowd.”
Now that’s music to our ears!
