There may be nothing more exciting than placing a wager on a whimsically named thoroughbred and watching him canter around the track. Add a glass of your favorite Maryland wine to the mix and you have an event worth betting on.
Join the Maryland Wineries Association and the Maryland Jockey Club April 20th and 21st for Decanter, a celebration of Maryland wine and racing at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
The third annual event will feature over 20 Maryland wineries, wine and equine focused arts and crafts, specialty food, live music, and the unique view from Pimlico's 2nd floor Grandstand.
General admission tickets start at $30 ($50 for two days). Upgrade to a "Decanter Pass" and take home a beautiful full-sized wine glass and try samples of premier wines from each winery.
For more information, or to purchase tickets, please visit www.MarylandWine.com or call 410-252-9463. The event is rain or shine.
