Comedian Michele Wojciechowski, author of the award-winning humor column Wojo’s World™, is releasing her first book, The Next Time I Move, They’ll Carry Me Out in a Box, about finding her dream home and the challenge of moving into it.
“They say that War is Hell. Trust me—moving is a close second,” says Wojciechowski. Her book details her experience. “Everything from deciding to hold an Open House Nearly. Every. Weekend., to keeping our home clean all the time, and dealing with our three dogs and my elderly stepdad (who lives with us) in the process.”
Wojciechowski has been writing and performing standup comedy since she was an 18-year-old senior at The Catholic High School of Baltimore. She will perform there again on September 15th to launch her book and raise money for Catholic High.
The event, called “Wojo and Mickey: Heaven Help Us!,” will feature standup and improv from Wojciechowski and her friend, Mickey Cucchiella, from 98 Rock.
Wojciechowski’s standup always covers ‘slice of life’ stuff—real experiences that folks can relate to – and that’s what the audience can expect at Saturday’s performance.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with light refreshments; the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $20 per person and may be purchased by calling 410-732-6200 x248 or visiting www.thecatholichighschool.org.
