2 T. chocolate syrup

2 T. coconut syrup

1/2 T. almond syrup

1 c. milk

2 shots (1/4 c.) espresso 


Steam* together the syrups and milk. Pour the mixture to about half an inch below the top of a 16-oz. cup. Add espresso and top with a thin layer of milk foam. Serve.


*No steamer? Try this: Pour half a cup of milk into a lidded glass jar. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Transfer the milk to a microwave-safe container and microwave on high for 60 seconds, or until steam just begins to rise. Use the hot milk in place of the steamed milk called for in the recipe, and spoon on the foam. Alternately, invest in an inexpensive hand-frother (such as the kind sold at IKEA) and use it to aerate the heated milk.
