March 8 and 9
Mark your calendars sea glass lovers! Maryland is a hidden jewel for collecting sea glass. The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center (CBEC) along with Queen Anne's County Office of Economic Development and Tourism has partnered to schedule a weekend of sea glass adventures, “Everything Sea Glass.”
• Friday, March 08th from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm - Guided sea glass hunt at local beaches. Pre-registration required.
• Friday evening, March 08th at 7:00 pm join nationally recognized Pure Sea Glass photographer, Celia Pearson, for a talk from the professional artist’s eye on sea glass. This presentation is open to the general public and will be held at CBEC. Pre-registration recommended.
• Saturday, March 09th, from 11:00am - 3:00 pm a Spring Sea Glass Fair will be held at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center. This event is FREE to public. Vendors selling sea glass wares will amaze the browser with the artistry, collections, jewelry and ornaments crafted from sea glass.
