Rebecca Massie Lane is the Director of Washington County Museum of Fine Arts and has completed two Museum Assessment Program Grants. She has also worked as the Director of the Sweet Briar College Museums and Galleries and as an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Arts and Management program at Sweet Briar College. She has a B.A. and M.A in art history from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville She has also performed duties such as strategic planning, budget balancing philosophy and policy collection developing.
