Ready for InfieldFest 2012—the all-day extravaganza leading up to the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes—on May 19th? It’s going to be the best one yet!
To listen to great music, head to the main stage and jam out to Grammy Award winner Maroon 5 and rapper Wiz Khalifa.
Show your “Moves Like Jagger” with the Favorite Band nominee at this year’s People’s Choice Awards as Maroon 5 gets you dancing with hits like “Misery,” “Makes Me Wonder,” and “Wake Up Call.”
And you cannot miss seeing multi-platinum rapper Wiz Khalifa! The 24-year-old knows how to keep the crowd pumped up with “Black & Yellow,” “No Sleep,” and his hit single, “Say Yeah.”
Keep the fun going and head over to the Beer Garden Jägermeister Stage! Performers include Mr. Greengenes, Nashville-based Little Big Town, and British rockers the Darkness.
But music isn’t the only perk of InfieldFest! Hang out with Kegasus, Lord of the Infield, and his sidekick. Show your inner artist and doodle, draw, or sketch on the 7,600-square-foot graffiti wall, and check out the always popular bikini contest!
General admission tickets to InfieldFest 2012 are $50 in advance and $60 the week of Preakness. But if you’re 21 or older, you may want to opt for a MUG Club ticket ($70 in advance/$80 during race week), which includes, along with admission, a souvenir cup that can be refilled—at no charge—throughout the day. (That’s right: The MUG Club ticket covers all InfieldFest beer purchases from 8 a.m. until the 6:30 p.m. last call!)
Remember that that no outside beverages—alcoholic or otherwise—are permitted in the Infield on Preakness Day. You can bring lunch or snacks, but coolers must be no larger than 28”L x 15”W x 17”H. Thermoses of any kind are prohibited.
